Pakistan’s Exports to China Double Record 100% Increase

Islamabad: In a remarkable economic achievement, Pakistan has witnessed a staggering 100% increase in its exports to China. According to the latest report from the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, the total value of Pakistan’s exports to China in September 2023 soared to $350 million, marking a significant leap from the $174 million recorded during the same month in the previous financial year.

Impressive Growth Trends

The report highlighted that Pakistan’s total exports to all partner countries worldwide in September amounted to $2.46 billion. Among These, China emerged as a pivotal trading partner, contributing $14.20 million to this significant economic stride. During the first quarter of the fiscal year 2023-24, Pakistan’s exports to global partners reached an impressive $6.89 billion. Notably, the volume of exports to China stood at $729.7 million, accounting for a substantial 10.00% of Pakistan’s total exports and a remarkable 57% increase.

This substantial increase in exports underscores the strengthening economic ties between Pakistan and China. The surge in trade volumes not only augments Pakistan’s economic stability but also fosters collaborative growth between the two nations.
