Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Exclusively Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset

The excitement around the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series has been steadily growing, with leaks and rumors fueling anticipation. Recent reports shed light on a key detail: the flagship model, Galaxy S24 Ultra, will exclusively feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, regardless of the market it serves.

Galaxy S24 Ultra’s Chipset Revelation

Within the Galaxy S24 series, comprising the standard S24, S24+, and the Ultra variant, the Ultra stands out. While the vanilla S24 and S24+ will employ either the Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the Ultra model will solely rely on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Notably, South Korea and Europe are slated to receive Exynos-powered units, while North America will continue the Snapdragon tradition.

Strategic Choices or Customer Preference?

This strategic shift might be a deliberate move by Samsung, possibly aimed at catering to diverse preferences among its fanbase. Previously, regional distinctions in chipsets were the norm. Rumors suggest that Samsung’s latest Exynos 2400, crafted with the advanced 4nm LPP+ process, promises exceptional performance. The chip is anticipated to deliver nearly double the CPU speed and a staggering 15-fold improvement in AI performance compared to its predecessor, the Exynos 2200.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will leverage TSMC’s cutting-edge node technology. Speculations hint at its availability in both 3nm and 4nm versions, although official confirmation from Samsung is pending.

As the month unfolds, Samsung enthusiasts eagerly await the official unveiling, hoping to witness the company’s innovative choices firsthand. Stay tuned for further updates as we approach the much-anticipated Galaxy S24 launch.
