With the ICC World Cup 2023 just around the corner, cricket broadcasters have once again released an energetic song, this time called “8 Ka wait,” to get cricket fans in India and Pakistan excited.
The ICC World Cup 2023 is about to start in India, and one of the most anticipated matches will be between cricket giants Pakistan and India at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14.
Back in 2015, broadcasters introduced the catchy song “Moksha Moksha,” which became very popular. This time, they’ve chosen the name “8 Ka wait,” signifying India’s seventh straight victory over Pakistan in World Cup matches.
The promotional ad for this year’s World Cup features Indian reality star Shahnaz Gill and Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.
As the national team gets ready for the World Cup in India, they will arrive in the country tonight. After a day of rest, the team will play a warm-up match against New Zealand.
The ICC previously released an official World Cup song, sung by Indian actor Ranveer Singh, but it received mixed reviews from cricket fans.
