Salman Khan 100 Crores is No Longer a Box Office Benchmark

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently stated that achieving a 100 crore business at the box office has no longer considered a significant achievement in the Indian film industry.

Salman Khan made these remarks at the trailer launch event of the Punjabi film ‘Mojaan Ee Mojaan‘ in Mumbai, where he has asked about his views on the Punjabi blockbuster film ‘Carry on Jatta 3,’ which has grossed over 100 crores worldwide. Khan dismissed the 100 crore milestone, emphasizing that contemporary Indian films are routinely grossing 400 to 500 crores or more.

He further pointed out that this trend isn’t exclusive to the Punjabi film industry; even Marathi films are achieving substantial box office success. According to Khan, people are flocking to theaters to watch movies, so a standard box office performance for any film should be upwards of 1000 crores.

Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Tiger 3,’ co-starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, has set to released on Diwali this year. Additionally, Shah Rukh Khan will make a special appearance in the movie, adding to the film’s star-studded cast.
