Sindh Health Authorities Issue Pink Eye Infection Guidelines for Airports and Airlines
Guidelines in Response to Rising Pink Eye Cases: Sindh health authorities have taken proactive measures in response to an increase in pink eye infections or conjunctivitis cases.
Directives to Airlines and Medical Staff: Dr. Murtaza Shah, the director of provincial Border Health Services (BHS), stated that these guidelines have communicated to both medical staff and airlines.
Action for Airlines: Airlines have instructed to guide passengers with pink eye infections to contact the health department’s doctors stationed at the airports.

No Travel Ban, But Travel Advice: Dr. Shah emphasized that no travel ban imposed on passengers infected with Pink Eye. Instead, the health department’s doctors will offer travel advice to affected travelers following a thorough examination.
