iPhone 15 Pro Has Smaller Battery Than iPhone 15 Regulatory Certification Reveals

Apple’s latest iPhone models, including the iPhone 15 Pro, have been certified by China’s Regulatory authority, shedding light on their battery capacities. Interestingly, the certification reveals that the iPhone 15 Pro’s has a smaller battery compared to the regular iPhone 15.

Battery Capacities:

  • iPhone 15: 3,349 mAh (slightly larger than iPhone 14’s 3,279 mAh)
  • iPhone 15 Plus: 4,383 mAh (larger than iPhone 14 Plus’s 4,325 mAh)
  • iPhone 15 Pro: 3,274 mAh (larger than iPhone 14 Pro’s 3,200 mAh)
  • iPhone 15 Pro Max: 4,422 mAh (larger than iPhone 14 Pro’s Max’s 4,323 mAh)

While these battery capacity increases are modest, any notable improvements in battery life expected to come from more efficient chipsets and displays rather than these relatively small increases in battery size.

The iPhone 15 series, including the iPhone 15 Pro’s, has recently introduced by Apple and is available for pre-order in various global markets. Apple also launched its new Watch 9 series, flagship Watch Ultra 2, and AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C support and other enhancements alongside the new iPhones.
