Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s Accuses PML-N of Uneven Playing Field Ahead of General Electionsf

In a press conference following a meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) in Lahore, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s Accuses PML-N voiced concerns about the fairness of the upcoming general elections in Pakistan. He specifically pointed fingers at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), a former coalition partner, regarding the perceived lack of a level playing field for his party.

Unequal Ground Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, in his address, reiterated his party’s complaint about the absence of a level playing field, stressing that this issue primarily revolves around one particular party, the PML-N. He called upon the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to promptly announce the election date to address these concerns.

Party Concerns The PPP chairman mentioned that his party holds concerns not only about the elections but also other matters of significance. He highlighted that the PPP’s CEC has PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari to take necessary steps in addressing these concerns.

Political Alliances Regarding the possibility of a political alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Bilawal expressed the PPP’s willingness to engage in talks with the former ruling party. However, he specified would only with politicians who were not involved in the events of the May 9 conspiracy.

Conditions for Dialogue Bilawal lamented that the PTI had not heeded their counsel and instead allegedly planned actions against military institutions, General Headquarters (GHQ) and Jinnah House. He emphasized that the PPP remains open to negotiations with any party that abstains from militant activities.

As Pakistan approaches the general elections, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s accuses PML-N remarks his party’s about the fairness of the electoral process. The call for transparency and open dialogue remains central as political dynamics evolve in the lead-up to the elections.
