WhatsApp Testing Group Chat Filters to Organize Chats Easily

WhatsApp is introducing a new feature that will make it easier for users to organize their group chats. The group chat filter option has currently tested in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android devices. This feature aims to help users manage their chats more effectively and keep their group conversations separate from personal contacts.

The chat filters will include options like “All,” “Unread,” “Contacts,” and “Groups,” which will appear at the top of the WhatsApp screen. By selecting the “Groups” filter, users can see a list of the groups they are part of and organize their group chats accordingly. This feature is a response to user requests for improved organization of group chats.

Given that many WhatsApp users part of multiple groups with frequent messages, this feature has expected to be a valuable addition to the app. While there has no specific release date mentioned, it has likely to become available to users in the coming weeks or months as it progresses through testing.
