Possible Gasoline Price Hike of Rs 15 per Liter Looms as Crude Oil Costs Surge

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani consumers may soon face a potential increase of Rs 15 per liter in gasoline prices.

Over the past week, global crude oil prices have risen by $5 per barrel, sparking concerns of a looming inflationary wave in Pakistan. A report from a private television channel suggests that if the value of the dollar remains stable or continues to rise, petroleum product prices could witness further hikes starting from September 16.

The report highlights that crude gasoline prices in the Gulf Market have escalated from $88 per barrel to $93, signaling the potential for a significant impact on fuel prices in Pakistan.
