Gold Prices in Pakistan Plummet by Nearly Rs. 30,000 Per Tola in a Week
The Prices of Gold in Pakistan has witnessed a significant decline for the sixth consecutive day, culminating in a weekly close at Rs. 212,000 per tola.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the Gold Prices of 24-carat gold has dropped by Rs. 500 per tola to reach Rs. 212,000, while the price for 10 grams has fallen by Rs. 428 to settle at Rs. 181,756 on Saturday.
The week began with a marginal decrease of Rs. 700 per tola on Monday. However, subsequent days saw more substantial declines, with prices plummeting by Rs. 6,300, Rs. 10,500, Rs. 5,800, and Rs. 4,000 per tola on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, respectively.
In total, Gold Prices have experienced a remarkable decrease of Rs. 27,800 per tola over the course of the week. This significant drop can be primarily attributed to the decline in the open market rate of the US dollar during this period.
