Microsoft’s Paint Enhancements Introducing the Background Removal Tool
Microsoft has introducing a new background removal tool in Paint, which has set to simplify the process of removing backgrounds from images.
Testing Phase
This innovative feature has currently tested and has available to Windows Insiders in the Canary and Dev Channels under version 11.2306.30.0.
One-Click Background Removal
The tool offers a streamlined process where users can remove the background of an image with a single click.
How to Use the Tool
To use the Microsoft Image Background Removal tool, open an image with Paint, and locate the background removal’s button on the left side of Paint’s toolbar. Clicking it initiates automatic background detection and removal. Users also have the option to manually select the portion of the background they wish to eliminate.
Enhanced Efficiency
This addition significantly enhances the functionality of the Paint software, eliminating the need for third-party tools to remove image backgrounds. Previously, users had to rely on software like Adobe Express, which often required account creation, or paid services like Canva for this feature.
Upcoming Features
In addition to the background remover, Microsoft is reportedly working on incorporating a text-to-image generator within Paint, demonstrating a commitment to improving and expanding the software’s capabilities.
These updates promise to make image editing and manipulation more accessible and efficient for Paint users, marking a positive step forward in enhancing the software’s functionality.
