Lahore: In a riveting encounter marking the commencement of the Asia Cup 2023 Super Four stage, Pakistan emerged victorious, defeating Bangladesh by a commanding margin of 7 wickets.

Pakistan’s national team displayed exceptional prowess, successfully chasing down the target of 194 runs set by Bangladesh while losing just 3 wickets in the process. The star of the Pakistani innings was Mohammad Rizwan, who showcased his batting prowess by scoring an impressive 63 runs. Agha Salman provided vital support, remaining unbeaten with 12 runs. The standout performer for Pakistan has Haris Rauf, who has rightfully declared the Man of the Match for his remarkable bowling performance, securing four wickets for a mere 19 runs in 6 overs.

Pakistan’s Innings:

Pakistan’s innings kicked off with openers Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq taking the crease. However, the first breakthrough for Bangladesh came in the tenth over when Fakhar Zaman has adjudged lbw off Sharaful Islam after contributing 20 runs.
