Infinix Zero 30 5G Debuts with Impressive 50 MP Selfie Camera
Infinix recently introduced its latest smartphone, the Zero 30 5G, at a grand event held in Venice, Italy. The standout feature of this phone is its impressive 50 MP front camera, capable of 4K video recording and equipped with a flash.
Powering the Infinix Zero 30 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, which boasts an octa-core CPU, including a cluster of four cores clocked at 2.6 GHz. The phone offers two RAM options: 8 GB and 12 GB, paired with 256 GB of non-expandable storage.
The rear camera setup includes three lenses. The primary camera boasts a 108 MP ISOCELL HM6 sensor by Samsung, featuring a 6-element f/1.65 lens, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), and PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus). Additionally, there’s a 13 MP shooter for capturing ultrawide photos and a 2 MP sensor primarily included for specification purposes. The phone features a circular flash known as the Aura Light, composed of four LEDs.
The front-facing camera also utilizes a Samsung sensor, the ISOCELL JN1, and supports PDAF. A flash is discreetly integrated into the small bezel above the screen, serving as a fill light when required.
Infinix has also launched the Mobile Vlog Awards (MVA), encouraging vloggers to capture their stories using the Zero 30 5G.
The phone boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a 360 Hz sampling rate. Its curved edges lend it a premium appearance. Moreover, the Zero 30 5G packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support via the USB-C port.
The phone is available in three enticing colors: Golden Hour, transitioning from Gold to Pink Rose; Rome Green with a vegan leather back and golden accents on the frame and camera island; and Fantasy Purple.
Pricing for the Infinix Zero 30 5G starts at approximately $339, although actual prices may vary depending on the market. Infinix has not yet disclosed specific plans regarding the phone’s availability in various regions.
