Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela found herself in the midst of controversy after posting an Instagram story featuring Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah ahead of the India vs. Pakistan clash in the Asia Cup 2023. Last year, Urvashi attended a match between Pakistan and India in Dubai and shared a fan-created video of herself with Naseem Shah.
During the Asia Cup match in Kandy, Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat against Pakistan. Rohit opened the innings alongside young talent Shubman Gill, but rain interrupted play at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. Before the rain delay, India had scored 15/0 in 4.2 overs, with Rohit and Gill unbeaten on 11 and 0, respectively. While Rohit managed to score a few boundaries, Gill struggled against the moving ball, especially when facing Naseem Shah.
The India vs. Pakistan clash had generated immense excitement over the past few days, with Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela expressing her enthusiasm on Instagram.
However, Rautela faced criticism from fans for her Instagram story, which featured Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah.
