RAAST Online Funds Transfer Service Unavailable on Upcoming Sunday for Select Banks
Temporary Suspension of Pakistan’s RAAST Instant Payment System
Service Disruption Schedule: RAAST, Pakistan’s instant payment system, will be temporarily suspended for maintenance.
Duration of Suspension: The service will be unavailable from 9 AM (September 3) to 12 AM (September 4).
Affected Banks: Several banks, including United Bank Limited, Bank Alfalah Limited, Bank Al Habib, and MCB Islamic Bank, have informed their account holders about the service disruption.
Reason for Suspension: While the banks did not provide specific reasons for the maintenance exercise, it is anticipated to be a routine maintenance procedure.
Resumption of Services: Normal services are expected to resume on Monday, September 4.
